  1. i never saw any promos for this show at all and there was nothing on this site either i only found out about it through A current affair facebook group

  2. I think Tens problems are their own doing, and go a long way back. I remember during the nineties, with their constant pandering to a youth demographic, it brought them massive profits, but once the internet took off, well, so did their tech savy audience. Since then they have struggled, and now its all come to a head. Perhaps they haven’t been taken seriously by an older loyal audience, which they desperately need. Something 9 & 7 had been cultivating for years.

  3. Things are bad for Channel 10 when a Daytime Soap Opera(Bold & the Beautiful) is outrating its prime time lineup.
Yes, Ten should put B&B on in primetime, in an unedited form.
It is time for TBL to be put to rest, permanently.

  4. Agreed about the chop and change on Inside Story, but it’s not really a new phenomenon. RBT, Customs, Border Patrol etc all do the same thing. But it is annoying.
With Inside Story, the entire first segment was all set up. It took about 10 minutes into the show before we got into the first story.
It will be interesting to see how MKR travels now that the instant restaurant rounds are over. It always seems to drop a little after these.

  5. Inside Story was a little meh for me, but what is Nine’s (and Seven’s) obsession with the colour red? Every set and graphic is red.

@Pakes. Here in Sydney it was ‘Grace Bros. Where else?’ often to the chuckle of British tourists.

  6. The Good Wife was only getting around 350k last season at 9:30pm. It was going to do worse than that against MKR/The Blacklist and The Block/Inside Story.

Worrying for Puberty Blues which was rating 750k later in the year when there was less competition, and it hasn’t been on a for a while.

  7. Watched Inside Story and to be honest, it was poorly done. It began to irritate me how the stories weren’t consistent, they would jump all over the place before finishing one story. Admittedly the insights were interesting though

  8. @ Bass_A – your comment is hilarious. Love it! It reminds me of Myer’s old slogan “At Myer, where else?” Which was quoted back at staff in a sarcastic tone! Does anyone know what numbers the Simpsons was doing? Better or worse than Modern Family.

  9. If Million Dollar Minute was hosted by Simon from the beginning, instead of Grant Denyer, it may have been more successful. IMO it is a much better show than Hot Seat, lots more questions for quiz buffs.

  10. I thought Inside Story was great, I will be back next week, well done to Nine. Their News and Current affairs are going really well, better than Seven at the moment – so credit where credit is due. MKR is just huge Seven is still dominating every night!
