Manager hits back at Denyer allegations

Management for Grant Denyer says he never came into contact with the man making allegations against him.

2014-02-28_0020The latest in the saga of accusations against Grant Denyer has seen his management turning the tables on the personal trainer who made allegations of drug addiction.

Victorian personal trainer Askin Karahan, 23, alleged to Woman’s Day he was at Thailand rehabilitation centre The Cabin while Denyer and his wife were there.

Titus Day, manager for Denyer, says the Seven presenter never came in contact with the witness branding him a “liar and fraud”.

“He never came in contact with Grant and Chezzi while he was there,” Day told the Herald Sun.

“It is just unbelievable and his story, which he was paid a lot of money for, is fast unravelling.”

He said the Denyers were not in the same therapy sessions as Karahan.

“He was there for different reasons and was only at the centre for three days before he disappeared off the planet.”

On social media, many have criticised the trainer for divulging personal information on the Seven personality.

The Cabin Chiang Mai released a brief statement on Monday: “Grant and Chezzi Denyer were both in treatment at The Cabin Chiang Mai for work exhaustion, executive burnout, anxiety, and PTSD.

“They were both highly motivated during treatment and the episode resulted in a successful outcome.”

Denyer is understood to be exploring legal action against the claims.
