New York Festival Awards 2014: finalists

The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Dance Academy & The Agony of Life compete in the NY Festival Awards.

2014-02-14_0109The Doctor Blake Mysteries has been nominated in the drama category at the New York Festival Awards 2014.

It will compete against tough competition including Orphan Black (Canada), Black Mirror and Peaky Binders (UK), The Vikings (USA) and The Blue Rose (NZ).

Producer George Adams said, “We have always been very confident about Blake but even we are amazed at the commitment
and loyalty shown by our audience and to get this level of international acclaim on top is enormously satisfying for everyone involved in the show.”

Last week the show’s return averaged an excellent 951,000 viewers.

The New York Festival Awards will be held in April.
