  1. Seven ave become lazy with afew choice programs dominating they think they can show atest pattern & it will rate…Won’t be long before they are in the same position Ten is in now if they keep that up..

  2. @dylan2012 – actually they only paid $7m for the rights and I do hope Ten gets the 2016, 2018 and 2020 Olympic Games, as 7 or 9 couldn’t do any better then what Ten is serving us at the moment.

  3. Ten are doing a great job. ONE coverage is so enjoyable with HD picture quality. Also few commercials and they are sticking to a whole event, not like 7 & 9 usually do it all over the placeband you loose interest. Big chance for Ten to bring viewers back. 🙂 Ratings are better than I expected as well.

  4. congrats to Network 10. I feel they are delivering a lot of coverage for spending only 20 mil. Overall very impressed with the Winter Olympics coverage. It has been very enjoyable having the choice of to channels plus 8 more on the app. Also impressed by the fact they are placing ads on at appropriate times. Like in between rounds etc. keep up the good work. And let’s hope they can pick up rio in 2016.

  5. Secret Squirrel

With five different timezones in Australia and, assuming that “Sochi Live” is actually live in all states (I haven’t been watching), then “Sochi Live D1 Evening” must include a different selection of events for each timezone. So the numbers are not really comparable since they relate to different content.

  6. In my opinion channel 7 have not had the right balance on a Saturday night for quite some time, they must think that no one watches TV then, they do very well all the week and then take a nose dive on Saturdays. With the ratings season starting they will have to re-think some of their programmes. Great to see 10 on top again, good work 10 hope you can keep it up.

  7. Again, more people were watching ABC1 than Seven, Nine or TEN…and SBS.
And 40 percent of the Network 9 total were watching GO or Gem, not the primary channel.
    Well done ABC1, again.

  8. Great job for 10 winning another night, their coverage of Sochi is very well done. Having it shown on 2 channels is great because it means that I can flick between the 2 and what the event that I want to watch. I wish that ten get the rights to all the Olympics / Commonwealth games in the future.

  9. With what Seven was scheduling on Saturday its no surprise to see them come last (not incl. SBS). They really need to start airing movies again.

Good to see TEN take the night. Doc Martin continues to be a force for the ABC too. It was a good night for the little guys if you like last night. Rare to see TEN and ABC top 2 instead of the usual suspects. Its good to see some healthy competition.

  10. Wow 2 nights in a row for ten I wonder if a miracle could happen and ten actually win a week that would be good to see i don’t think that has happened since master chef was at its peak

  11. 7 came last (not counting SBS)? Did I wake up in another dimension? I know tonight will be different with a crazy amount of people watching that cooking show and the telemovie about some band.

Good for Ten. I stayed up really really late watching Sochi. Probably will do that again tonight.

Can’t believe ABC got over 1 million on a Saturday night, good for them
