Robbie Williams was nearly caught with his pants down this morning on Today when a front row fan noticed his fly had “come undone.”
But in his inimitable style he laughed it off, not realising the chat was Live to air. It was all part of the Williams charm which had fans in raptures in Nine’s Willoughby studio.
Williams performed a number of his songs, accompanied by a swing band and Guy Chambers, including Love Supreme, Shine My Shoes and Angels, crooning with the audience.
Amongst the chit chat, Williams revealed he would have loved to have performed a duet with Michael Hutchence, was “frustrated sexually” performing with Kylie, he doesn’t own a phone after ditching one during Britain’s hacking scandal and nearly got Lisa Wilkinson to reveal her thoughts on getting a tattoo.
Williams will next appear on So You Think You Can Dance Australia on Sunday.

I came in on the tail end of his interview on 7:30- I found him very interesting, and I might catch the full interview online.
What a self indulgent load of twaddle this show was.
I normally tune in to Today for a mix of news and lighter entertainment.
This morning was a shameless promotion of Robbie Williams, at almost 45 minutes of his content followed by Karl and Lisa “reminiscing” about Robbie. Then there was Robbie, and oh, I forgot to mention Robbie.
Waste of time. If I wasn’t catching up on this site and my online news, would have turned over.
