I wish to thank the ABC for the News and Nine for Sherlock. I could make some criticisms but I’m not going to do that. I thought the show itself was a bit self indulgent although still very enjoyable. The actors were wonderful. I am very grateful for it being played reasonable recently. My favourite reaction was Lestrade’s.
I also liked that the credits showed up after the ad for next week. So I did notice. As well as the sensible watermark. I appreciate it very much. I also liked the transition to the ad breaks. Again thank you.
David, can you please release the ratings for ‘The Moody’s’. Usually comedies on the ABC sat with a great first episode rating, like upper middle bogan, etc.
Solid results for TEN. Hopefully a good platform to launch Sochi on Friday. I thought S&S was ok – Josh is a bit shouty, but that’s just being picky.
of course BBL wins – local team playing and perth are loyal to their state!
Spicks & Specks not off to a great start, which didn’t help the Moodys.
Only 598K for Spicks & Specks…ouch. ABC would have been hoping for much better.
Not great numbers for S&S, shedding 70k of a QI repeats number. I watched, it was a reasonable start. Hopefully the numbers improve a bit, lots of competition last night that wont always be there.
I thought Spicks & Specks was nearly as good as the original. With time they will settle into the swing of things and it will be just like good old times. I predict its ratings will pick up.
However, I was disappointed with The Moodys. It lacked the tightness and zing of the first series. And it basically didn’t have many laughs. All in all, another unfunny Aussie comedy. Its main problem is that the characters just wander around aimlessly. Maybe it will pick up.
Go Home And Away 😉
Sherlock just snuck in to the top 20 shows. I recorded it because it started closer to 9pm than the advertised 8.30pm (damn you reality rubbish over-runs!).
Wow bad night for 9 only 1 show cracked the million. Sherlock also did pretty bad beaten by BBL which was rained out for a period of time.
Wow! Big Bash League wins over 7 news in Perth.
