  1. Slightly off-topic but what happened to 9 showing the NRL in HD in 2014?

  2. @laurie Jim Wilson didn’t start the petition. Jim was asked about it and said he’d go higher than him to ask.

I’m not sure I understand the use of 7mate for a half hour highlights show whilst 7 Melb/Adel/Hobart show half an hour of BH&G that then moves to 7two. Why not just show all of BH&G on 7two and put the AFL all on 7? Makes sense to me, no channel hopping required!

  3. It should all be on 7Mate, not so it can be in HD, but so it isn’t on the primary channel and messing around with programming for viewers who have no interest in AFL.

  4. YouTube has better quality than Se7en there is a petition going around started by JIm Wilson from Ch7 which surprised me I was going to provide a link but was not too sure David would approve that?

  5. Which networks are using HD for sport differently to what they have in the past couple of years?

Nine still show NRL in SD in NSW and QLD.

Ten just finished showing the Big Bash in SD.

  6. Hi David,

Might also be worth mentioning that all of ch7’s games will continue to be displayed no higher than SD resolution. Surely now that analogue has been switched off (and other networks are utilising their HD channels for sport), more pressure should be applied to Ch7?
