An aborted interview with Khloe Kardashian on Sunrise resulted in a Twitter war between both parties.

2014-03-18_1427An aborted interview with Khloe Kardashian on Sunrise this morning resulted in a Twitter war between both parties.

Sam Armytage and David Koch were chatting to about her new line of baby clothes via satellite.

“I guess the baby line was inspired now with lots of nieces and nephews running around. How’s baby North going?” asked Armytage.

Kardashian began to answer the question before the screen went black.

Producers thought it was a technical glitch, however a source in the studio in LA says her people instructed them to go to black.

Sunrise claims the ending of the interview is not consistent with a satellite drop out.

 

 

 

She also tweeted the show was “f***ing desperate” to her 9.5m followers.

Executive Producer Michael Pell blamed it all on “overzealous publicists.”

“What happened with Khloe Kardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere. Don’t try to censor natural conversation. You would think coming on to promote a range of clothes that includes a baby line, it would be fair enough to ask about the inspiration,” he said.

“When you watch the interview you see Khloe had no problem with the questions. It’s obvious someone on her team did, and pulled the plug. Khloe shouldn’t declare war on us, she should declare war on her own publicists.”

However he also told news.com.au “Her people were a little concerned about the line of questioning we were going to take before she came on air.”

  1. They could have handled that with a bit more class. It’s a shame cause Sunrise does the concert shows really well, but are amongst the worst interviewers.

  5. It was a fair question but the publicists did over react. Khloe was on to talk about a kids range of clothing they are launching and of course North was going to be asked about. Apparently the publicist has apoligised.

    I wouldnt want to get any kardashian offside especially the mother.

  7. I think the question we should be asking is… Do we actually care? If anything seeing less of that family on our screens is a positive. Thank you overprotective publicists.

  8. Wasn’t there a similar incident with Paris Hilton or someone similar about a year or so ago? These publicists get so precious. The celebrity is quite happy to answer the question, but the stupid publicists interfere and make a big deal out of it. Some of them need to pull their head in.
