More Aussies cast in US shows

Two actors with Secrets and Lies enjoy US casting opportunities.

2014-02-28_2241More Australian actors have been cast in US television productions: Indiana Evans and Ben Lawson.

Former Home and Away star Indiana Evans, currently appearing in Janet King, has been cast in the US adaptation of Secrets and Lies.

She will play the teenage daughter of Ben (Ryan Philippe) who becomes the prime suspect in a murder after discovering the body of a young boy.

Evans was recently seen in the Blue Lagoon revival alongside Brenton Thwaites.

Meanwhile, Ben Lawson, who already appears on the Australian series of Secrets and Lies has been cast in ABC comedy pilot Damaged Goods.

The series revolves around two damaged men (Justin Harley and Steve Talley) and two damaged women who explore the minutiae of love and relationships. Lawson will play Michael, a smart, funny, good-natured, dermatologist.
