New US drama Those Who Kill has been pulled by A&E in the US after only two episodes.
The Chloe Sevigny crime drama, based on a Danish series inspired by Elsebeth Egholm’s books, will be yanked from the schedule immediately, however the network says they support the show and believe it will be able to find an audience in a new, but unannounced, timeslot.
The series pulled 1.4 million viewers, shedding nearly half of its Bates Motel lead-in audience of 3.07 million. The second episode dropped to 830,000 viewers.
Foxtel recently flagged Those Who Kill as screening on SoHo from April 15.

Very surprising. I can’t remember the last time a cable network pulled an original series.
I don’t understand why Chloe’s latest TV vehicles aren’t resonating with viewers. I find nearly everything she does so interesting, she chooses great projects and is a superb actress. I loved Big Love, she played such an unlikeable character so well that I ended up finding ‘Nicki’ quite endearing. Hit n Miss was intriguing, I was really disappointed that it was canned. (I don’t believed at all the claims that it was meant to only be a single season show, there were way too many loose ends left when the credits rolled.)
I wish we could get the original Danish series!
SBS, where are you?
