@mario: The last two episodes of Love Child are being “encored” on GEM Monday 24th @12pm (noon).
Go dance! The only show I watch on tv 🙂 Please please keep this show ten!
I am a member on Whirlpool a very large and active Aussie Forum site that has a TV section.
Going by active discussion on there many shows on ELEVEN have more discussion than SYTYCD. No discussion since last nights show either. Sad to us we watch this excellent show but Ten may have to move it to 11. Puberty blues also has little discussion whilst Neighbours does.
I don’t know what else Ten can do with that show now. Bogan TV rules at the moment and Ten has little to offer along that line. Very sad 🙂
Clever programming move by Nine to rejig its news and ACA scheduling and to start The Block at 7:30. Seems to be rating about 200k higher
@ neve54,
It all depends on which section of society you are conversing with. I am assuming these contacts of yours are under the impression that the two mentioned shows are top entertainment and I hasten to add that it is their right to feel that way.
I can assure you the many folk I converse with are mostly of the opposite opinion, namely that
SYTYCDA and S&L simply do not appeal to them in the least. Horses for courses.
I don’t know how many more times the accuracy of the Oztam ratings have been shown to be fair, there will always be those who refuse to accept that they are.
Will contestants get many votes from the public if SYTYCD moved to Eleven? I don’t think so. Leave it on Ten.
Obviously a lot of people not watching tv on Thursday nights. The Block win with 1,121,000-big drop from MKR numbers.
David can I ask-
1) are channel nine repeating Love Child this weekend? Can’t find it anywhere; won’t watch it on their Jump-In site on the internet; it’s a joke; took an 1 1/2 to watch an episode of Dallas; tape keeps getting stuck on commercials etc.; complained by e-mail but they don’t answer back
2) Are channel nine going to screen Dallas season 3? I think we were up to the end of season 3.
3) Are channel 7 going to screen Season 2 of Chicago Fire? I found the series quite good, but it didn’t rate that well here.
Thanks!!
I keep seeing people say “Move SYTYCDA to 11”, why? It’s not going to do any better there, and whatever will replace it on 10 (my money would be on more Modern Family repeats) would hardly pull them out of their rut.
I have no ideas either besides the extravagant idea of paying big bucks to “fast-track” the newer, edgier dramas like Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Walking Dead, etc.
Just proof these ratings are a load of crap. I have had more conversations about SYTYCD and Secrets and Lies than any other show with heaps of people and on social media.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Escape Artist, it was excellent!
Nothing is going to save sytycda now …… move it to 11 ….
The QF32 documentary was fantastic last night. This show contained fantastic footage of the QF32 flight. I really liked watching this show because this show talks about plane engineering.
That’s why ACI is better watching than SYTYCDA because I’m not interested in Dance Shows.
Oh dear, the much vaunted moving SYTYCDA to Thursday night did not work.
If the show can’t get any sort of audience without any competition in that timeslot from Seven and Nine, then there is really no hope for it.
Surely, the production costs for Channel 10 would be huge, how can they justify keeping the show going for the rest of its season, when the ratings returns are so poor?
Pleased that Janet King is doing not all that badly for the ABC, enjoying it far more than the original Crownies.
Oh my goodness – that is so sad 🙁 poor #sytycdau – it is such a brilliant show. The talent is absolutely amazing – yet no one is watching?
What is happening?
Thats sad. I am not sure what Ten can do with it now. But they only have themselves to blame. Putting it up against the two rotten but highly rating MKR and Block.
SYTYCDA drops to 318,000.
