ABC wins medals at NY Festivals awards
Kakadu, Foreign Correspondent, Shark Girl, Doctor Blake & Dance Academy all win medals.

ABC has notched up several wins at the New York Festivals Worlds Best TV & Film 2014 awards with Gold World Medals for Kakadu, Foreign Correspondent, Shark Girl and Silver for The Doctor Blake Mysteries and Dance Academy.
Foreign Correspondent won a Gold for Ibrahim’s War and 23 Little Lives plus a Silver for Prisoner X and Bronze for India on Trial reports.
Kakadu by Northern Pictures and Beach House Pictures also won a Gold medal.
Documentary Shark Girl by Kaufmann Productions for the ABC also won Gold.
Dance Academy by Werner Films won a Silver medal.
The Doctor Blake Mysteries by December Media also won a Silver. Producer George Adams said, “This show just keeps giving. We are stunned by the reaction from local audiences but now this level of international recognition has blown us away. I am so delighted for our entire cast and crew who have worked so hard to create a worldclass drama. It appears we might just have done it.”

The only blemish is that they weren’t on their HD channel Kakadu looks fantastic on Bluray
The ABC should be very proud of these awards, and their content in general. I know I’m proud of them 🙂
