Courteney Cox: “It’s not gonna happen.”

Video: About that Friends re-union thing....? Monica says nope.

About that Friends re-union thing….?

“It’s not gonna happen,” Courteney Cox tells David Letterman.

Are the key players now just answering questions politely, or is this a bit like salary negotiations where media speculation is gingerly used to prop up the price tag?

  1. mr darcy – I didn’t get that impression at all. Courtney has expressed interest in a reunion in the past, but as she said, she gets into trouble for saying that because then the others get hounded about it. She’s clearly not over it – she wouldn’t try to organise get togethers with the rest of the cast if she was.

  2. Cairo – definitely not the only one! I loved it the first time and I still love it, even though I’ve seen every episode countless times! Comedy is extremely subjective – someone’s LOL fodder could easily make someone else cringe. The critical and popular acclaim that the show enjoyed throughout its entire run was well deserved.

  3. Am I the only one that loves friends? I was 2 when it first went to air and was 12 when it finished. I loved it back then and I have watched the whole series again and loved it the. Plus watching the occasional repeat on go. I’m but the shows comedy will never get old.

As for reunion I hope they do it but only if everyone including all the crew are in it 100%. Because otherwise it won’t work like it did. I do believer they have a lot of content that they do and can go in so many directions 10 years on.

  4. I liked friends, it was good entertainment. Not laugh out loud stuff and yes lots of canned laughter, but it was and still is easy going.

A reunion would be a disaster, the world has moved on, Friends was then and this is now.

Fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen,…..an adult parody would be acceptable though
