  1. Re: Ten problems

I mainly agree with DanR with the problem of between 6-7pm. Although they need to worry about 7-8.30pm. I think that is key if they can’t improve the earlier timeslots. Of course there is so much more than that.

  2. Thanks David for the figures including the extra ones. I like the new table format including that it is a bit bigger. Easy for me to read most of them.

Also thank you to the ABC for the News, Q&A plus Lateline. Also thanks to Eleven for Supernatural. I have noticed that American Horror Story is after Torchwood instead of The 4400.

  3. 9 news does terrible for them in Perth , like many 9 Programs in 9. 10 Programs do considerably well for 10 and 7 Shows do amazingly in Perth. Intresting!

  4. Gee Nine did well to get so close to Seven in Consolidated ratings last night. Where would Seven be without the huge ratings it gets in Adelaide & Perth. Seven News is getting crushed on the East Coast by Nine & I understand that Today is also now No 1 on the East Coast also.

  5. With those figures for Bondi Rescue, it makes me wonder why TEN don’t put Bondi Vet on a weekday 7:30pm slot. When it was the double of Bondi Vet and Bondi Rescue on TEN, they both did well.

Sure a repeat of Bondi Vet got 316,000 on Saturday, however I think it’s a show that would do better at 7:30pm on a weekday. Probably Tuesday like when it used to be on at 8pm after Bondi Rescue when the ratings were 747,000 (as per here: http://tvtonight.com.au/2012/03/tuesday-13-march-2012.html).

  6. How’s Wake Up and Studio 10 going these days? Has there been any improvement after the Easter break? I havent seen data for a couple of weeks.

  7. This botched up show called My Kitchen Rules is a huge embarrassment for Australia! One flaw hunts the other. For instance, there are fake comments from the candidates in present tense while there are cooking. It’s not credible that they are totally under pressure, but have the time to quickly give an interview about how they feel at that moment. Everyone knows that it is not a live show, so it is even more ridiculous to execute a show that way. I felt like watching a slow afternoon show in a prime time slot. Seven’s shows are all the same, with the same errors in it. If MKR or House Rules, they are all executed in the same way without understanding basic skills for TV production and story telling.

  8. Ch 7 urgently getting more Monday public holiday AFL games created.

Still feels like Ch 9 missed an opportunity with their rugby league coverage in the last rights negotiations.
