Screen Shot 2014-04-24 at 10.09.45 amNine has confirmed its launch for The Voice, to begin Sunday, May 4th at 6.30pm.

Coaches Kylie Minogue, will.i.am, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden will be seen across four nights of Blind Auditions in the first week, continuing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night from 7.30pm.

This season’s coaching panel welcomes two new superstar faces. Australia’s Queen of Pop Kylie Minogue brings decades of international and Grammy Award-winning experience home to coach the newest batch of Australia’s aspiring artists. She is joined by seven-time Grammy winner and producer extraordinaire will.i.am, fresh from a team win on The Voice UK.

Kylie and will.i.am will sit beside Good Charlotte rocker and The Voice veteran Joel Madden and Latin music superstar Ricky Martin on the stellar panel of Coaches.

A ratings smash in both 2012 and 2013, The Voice is a music competition like no other, featuring four electrifying stages: The Blind Auditions, The Battles, The Showdowns and Live Finals. Thousands of artists submit auditions for the chance to take to the stage before the four superstar Coaches in a bid to be crowned The Voice Australia.

Darren McMullen returns as host of The Voice for its third season, which promises to be the biggest yet.

The Voice is a co-production between Shine Australia and Talpa Productions.

  1. if the Voice & Masterchef weren’t on i would be watching House Rules over the Block as i simply find the contestants on the Block to be extremely irritating, in fact same for shows like the Farmer Wants a Wife & even Big Brother to a certain extent. Nine just seem to have a knack of picking people wtih over inflated egos or something, i just never like the contestants on their shows, except for talent shows.

  2. Well if nothing else this scheduling may boost sales of PVR’s! Kylie is def the winning draw card for the Voice, she could easily draw some casual Masterchef viewers away like no one else as some fans would be of the same target audience even if they don’t usually watch talent shows. Although ratings might decline in the later weeks when her novelty will wear off if they don’t have some really strong contestants.

  3. I wont be watching this year this show is all about the judges .it has nothing to do about the performers.all the talk has been about kylie and william all the promos are about the judges .seriously.the title is so misleading .house rules for me

  4. I think The Voice will be unbeatable a show definitely worth watching so much better than the x-factor too, looking forward to the show with Kylie too 🙂 Glad Delta has moved on to VoiceKids but don’t think that show will really work.

  5. How come Nine always says they’re going to put The Voice on four nights a week and then they cut it down to two eps at the last minute?

  6. MCA is not going to debut well at all on Monday with viewers following on from the Voice on Sunday.

Since they won’t listen, it will be fun to watch TEN scramble once again.

  7. LOL I can’t believe Channel Ten is still trying to get ratings with Masterchef – haven’t they learnt their lesson with Biggest Loser???

I’m definitely going to watch the Blind Auditions at least – that’s usually all I watch…
