TEN Chief Financial Officer, Paul Anderson, has added Chief Operating Officer to his responsibilities at the network, as right hand man to CEO Hamish McLennan.
The position has remained vacant since Jon Marquard resigned as COO in July.
The Australian reports Anderson, who has been with TEN for 11 years, will continue as chief financial officer but steps up after McLennan became executive chairman, following the departure of Lachlan Murdoch.
Hamish McLennan remains CEO for the network.
“Hamish has got his executive chairman’s hat on and there’s a lot going on so my role goes right across all the different functions,” Anderson said. “Primarily, I’ve been here a long time now and know the place better than anyone. I can add support, horsepower and some in-depth knowledge.
“The role transcends all departments and gives me more authority to make things happen,” he said.
TEN announces its half-yearly results to market today.
