Equity Ensemble Awards 2014: winners

Top of the Lake, Redfern Now & Upper Middle Bogan casts were lauded by Actors Equity members.

1upmdlWinners of the Equity Ensemble Awards were lauded last night at a ceremony in Sydney.

The fourth Equity Ensemble Awards congratulated casts as voted by Actors Equity members:

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Mini-series or Telemovie: Top of the Lake

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: Redfern Now

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series: Upper Middle Bogan.

Bruce Meagher, Foxtel Director of Corporate Affairs, presented one award saying, “Foxtel is proud to be a sponsor of the 2014 Ensemble Awards and I am thrilled to be here to help recognise the valuable contribution these ensembles have made to Australian TV.   1. Top of the Lake was brilliant. Beautiful scenery, chilling & intriguing storyline & superb acting. Mum & I watched the 1st episode & then stayed up til 2am to watch the whole series, we couldn’t stop! I’m loving this era of TV.
