  1. That performance results for 7Mate read like some real chest beating. Although the thing, 7 really doesn’t need to do that – 7Mate does pretty well.

Can’t wait to read the Performance Results for One and Eleven.

  2. @I’m not paranoid – Perhaps you can tell me when it last rated “around 300,000”, consistently or otherwise? Its ratings for the last two months haven’t exceeded 272,000, sometimes as low as 209,000. So, spin or BS, call it what you want but it’s there.

  3. 7TWO had a great identity when it was aimed at over 50’s who love British Programming. Then they decided not enough younger people were watching so they added random programmes like Air Crash Investigations. Now their identity is somewhat confused. It’s really turned off those people who relied on it for British programming.

  4. @Secret Squirrel Actually Tattoo Nightmares has been on the air on 7mate since December last year. No spin.

  5. @deadlois9 not going to happen due to the M+ rating, unless they cut out half the show 😉 would be good though.
As for multi channels, don’t know how Eleven is getting ratings with the endless re runs of the same shows for the last 3 years! I mean i like my retro tv but they’re on like the 3rd rerun of the entire series of Happy Days etc!

  6. I love Family Guy and If It was up to me in the states which don’t have 6 to 7pm News Bulletins on 7 I would be happiest with them using it as a 6:30pm offering as well as having them on Mate.

  7. 7mate also has V8 Supercars in Perth (whole broadcast) and other cities (variable depending on other commitments).

As far as I’m aware, Tattoo Nightmares has only been on for 2 wks – you need more than two data points to establish “consistency”. And since when do we call 245,000 “around 300,000”?

Can’t wait to see how Ten have spun their multichannel performance.

  8. 7TWO needs to screen Some First Run US Sitcoms in Primetime mainly from ABC Studios, as there’s not enough room on the Main Channel which is Dominated by Reality, Better Homes and Gardens, AFL and Drama all in Primetime,
