SKY News: Budget 2014

SKY News offers multi channel coverage of next Tuesday’s Federal Budget from 6:30pm.

From 6.30pm the SKY News Business team, led by Helen Dalley and Carson Scott, will take one final look at what we can expect to hear from Treasurer Joe Hockey.

At 7pm SKY News National, in simulcast with SKY News Business, will have last minute analysis with a panel of experts and industry lobbyists.

Then from 7.30pm, Live, uninterrupted coverage from Parliament House Canberra as the Treasurer hands down the Abbott Government’s long awaited first budget.

Who pays, who’s better off? Immediately after the Treasurer’s speech, SKY News Political Editor David Speers will have all the answers as he dissects Budget 2014 with SKY News Business Editor James Daggar-Nickson and SKY News Business Anchor Brooke Corte.

Throughout the evening they’ll be joined by business analysts, lobbyists and political commentators and conduct Live interviews with Treasurer Joe Hockey, Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen as well as Clive Palmer and Greens Leader Christine Milne.

From 10pm a special Budget 2014 Edition of Paul Murray Live will cut through the politics as Paul and his panel focus on ‘what’s in it for you’.

Australia’s Public Affairs Channel, A-PAC, will have ongoing coverage of all the key speeches and news conferences while SKY News Multiview will have multi-channel coverage of the budget announcement and instant reaction from industry leaders.

From 5.30am Wednesday, SKY News Chief Political Reporter Kieran Gilbert presents Budget 2014 – The Verdict Live from the lawns of Parliament House. Kieran will talk to political and industry leaders as the Government begins the hard-sell.

On SKY News Business Bridie Barry will be joined by a budget review panel to examine how Budget 2014 is likely to be received by financial markets.
