Stars say its pozible for late night chat show

Julia Morris, Wil Anderson & Dan Ilic get behind the campaign for more of The Darren Sanders Show.

2014-05-22_0150Comedian Darren Sanders has received support from the likes of Julia Morris, Wil Anderson and Dan Ilic after turning to crowd-sourcing website Pozible to back his late night, self-titled show.

The Darren Sanders Show, which first launched on Community TV, saw 4 low-budget episodes broadcast late nights on GO! last year.

While he is “in talks” with GO! for more, he’s hoping to boost the budget via Pozible.

“After producing the first two series with an amazingly low budget, we are now looking at stepping up the production quality and need your help to be a part of it. We have scheduled 3 recording sessions in which four episodes will be recorded each session,” he says.

Sanders tells TV Tonight, “Funny, since I’ve been pushing and shopping this for 3 years and only recently there’s been a push from networks about doing late night.

“I shall hopefully get some interest with this approach and keep persisting with hopefully one day getting it funded. Just need to prove that this type of show has an audience.”
