12 Comments:

  1. We watched SYTYCD whilst in Melbourne for10 days. Finale was fantastic. 🙂
Sorry but didn’t want my brain to get damaged so I did not watch that footy rubbish show nor the boring repeats of TBBT – LOL

  2. Fargo was outstanding. I loved the line

“No, highly irregular is the time I found a human foot in a toaster oven. This is just odd.

  3. once-upon-a-time

It will be interesting to see which way ‘House Rules’ numbers go, looks like sometimes the winning formula in one genre, is not always the formula for winning another, ie. MKR v HR

Could it be launching straight into the tears and animosity style of ‘The Block’ instead of letting it slowly simmer as does ‘The Block’, was not well received for ‘House Rules’.

It would be interesting to see the criteria (actual/real) for contestants selection, and which came first, ‘ opposing personalities’ or ‘skills and experience’??

  4. bettestreep2008

Sad to see SYTYCD rate so badly. Just over 450K whereas MKR and The Block finales rated over 2 million each.

Especially sad to see a hight quality production promoting Aussie talent be beaten by rubbish like House Rules and an unfunny American sitcom – and a repeat to boot.

  5. Fargo was so good great to SBS views up.
This will only get better as more people know it is on.
Crack the 8% next week I hope.

  6. Secret Squirrel

Fargo will go far. I could take two hours of that every week. Billy-Bob Thornton an Bob Odenkirk’s characters look like they use the same blind barber.

  7. Forgot to also mention that SYTYCD didn’t even crack the top 20. A grand finale not making the top 20 is almost unheard of. Breaks my heart to see this. 🙁

  8. Whilst I am glad SYTYCD broke the 400K mark, that figure for a finale (and one of the calibre we saw last night) is bitterly disappointing. The fact that the winner’s announcement figure was barely higher (statistically) than the rest of the episode is of great concern. Last night’s finale was a highly polished piece of great entertainment, even for people who didn’t watch any of the other episodes. For that reason alone I’d have liked it to exceed 600K. Where shows like MKR are contrived entertainment that’s controlled by the producers, Dance showcases real talent and it’s a shame that this season didn’t succeed.

  9. What is wrong with people? SYTYCDA Finale was amazing. Well produced and so many incredible performances. And no confected drama or bitching – yet no one watched it, but will watch MKR and The Block Finales which effectively are overblown nonsense
