13 Comments:

  1. @WolfieBoy – not every match is live in HD but I hope Rio doesn’t get the stadiums organised so that I don’t have to watch the soccer. Imagine if Ten gets the rights to live AFL again then people will tune in again

  2. @Kushaa – spot on we all have favourites. We watch 7, 10, SBS, ABC the 9 last and least due to repeats. Yet we enjoy the Voice on 9. We watch what we like, live in Adelaide, so similar to Perth, 7 is more popular than 9. AFL has a bit to do with that as well I would say.
Looking forward to World Cup Soccer starting next week on SBS and the The Tour de France, so SBS will be a feature in our household. Thank goodness for digital and a better VHF frequency for SBS now and more people can enjoy their offerings. We will be watching on 30. 🙂

  3. I am trying not to defend a particular station but there seems to be a lot of people bagging Perth and Seven.
For some reason people in Perth is fixed to Seven. And for some reason, people are fixed to TBBT regardless of how many times they are repeated. Without TBBT, would anyone deduce how the ratings would be like for Nine?

  4. Population of Perth 1.5 Million = 305k House Rules , Sydney 4.4Million = 388k House Rules
Add the voice & other shows in same time slot
it must of been a ghost town in Perth last night.
No surprise if Seven retain Perth couple thru to Grand Final. Like all other shows on Seven numbers are inflated by Perth figures.

  5. Took a little while to get used to the House Rules couples this season but now I am really enjoying this show. Very happy to see it doing so well and coming back for a third series.

  6. Seven has a strong base in Perth so it is up to other channels to put up a fight. If we are talking about exclusion for ‘fair game’ here, why don’t we exclude all the TBBT repeats from the ratings?

  7. Going by the major cities looks like celebrity obsessed syd and melb can’t get enough if the voice. Good to see a show like house rules hold its own against the superficial hype of the voice.

  8. Perth which only watches seven anyway is the reason why house rules are leading over the voice … Maybe time to exclude Perth from the survey as they only choose a channel over programmes.

  9. Only for Mon day reveals, otherwise The Voice rules Sunday – Monday.

We record the Voice and watch M/Chef then Spool through the voice to avoid their long Promo’s for shows we would never watch like Kids Voice and House Husbands and that stupid dating farce. Topped by endless repeats of TBBT.
Masterchef should go back to normal tonight 🙂
