Yes other nights would be better for the show, but not for Seven.

They don’t want to put it up against MKR for example, because the few viewers it gets would likely be stripped from MKR. And they don’t want it to disrupt 72’s targeting of older females with The Indian Doctor, Endeavour, Morse or Escape To The Country etc.

So it got parked on Saturdays. But now with Nine winning due to The Voice and State of Origin, Seven want to chip away at the gap in any slots around them so they going with Babe v Men In Black 3 on Saturday.

So the last 3 eps will be parked on Sunday afternoon, out of the way. At least Seven are doing this, Nine wouldn’t bother even showing them.

  2. I always thought Saturday night was a bad night for this show, I think it could’ve done better on a weeknight.
Although I’m well aware I could be completely wrong on that.

Bit of an in joke here David, when I ask, Whats new about this item, as the threat of ‘once upon a time’ being ‘bumped’ has often been muted?

  4. Thanks David. Wondered what was going on. Such a shame its ended up on 7two in this timeslot. Its such a great 2nd half of season 3. Seven hurt this show early on with the erratic scheduling and it could have worked well for them. I’m just glad they are airing it.

  5. Ask… and we shall receive. Thanks David.

I have always thought it would be great in the traditional ‘Wonderful World of Disney’ timeslot of Saturday at 6:30pm… On 7 Two, of course.

  6. I’m greatful Seven are still airing it, but it would be nice to have a bit of consistency in timeslot, especially considering it’s Saturday night on a multichannel.
