House Rules brings it home for Seven

Ratings: Seven wins another ratings week -and there are positive messages elswehere from Thursday nights.

H60C9757Seven continued its comeback with another successive ratings week won, thanks to a rise by House Rules at the expense of The Voice.

House Rules topped the week at 1.8m viewers for Seven. Other brands included Seven News (Sun: 1.29m), Sunday Night (1.07m) and Home and Away (955,000).

The best for The Voice last week was 1.43m. Also for Nine were The Big Bang Theory (1.31m) and Nine News (1.21m). A separately coded sneak peek for The Voice Kids was the second-highest title on Nine all week.

Masterchef scored up to 997,000 for TEN on Thursday, a strong message for network programming. NCIS was 836,000 and Offspring was 804,000.

Call the Midwife, also on Thursday, pulled 849,000 for ABC1. ABC News was 811,000 on Sunday and The Checkout was 752,000.

SBS attracted an excellent 752,000 in preliminary numbers for its FIFA World Cup Aus v Chile post match, but SBS advises it scored a whopping 1.74m. Out of prime time neither number will impact on weekly share, but it’s a great result for the broadcaster.

Seven won key demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Seven ranked first on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with Nine taking Sunday and Thursday. ABC bettered TEN on Monday and Saturday.

Seven swept all cities except Sydney, which was won by Nine.
