9 Comments:

  1. We agree the Voice has to watch the judges attitude like – I think I can do a lot more with this person etc.

Watched Ten until about 11pm starting with M/Chef, Recorded the voice plus 7. Then watched Germany live at 1:30am and recorded the other 2 games. 🙂

We do not watch House Rules.

  2. Those Voice Showdowns should have been viewer voted with the winners announced at the beginning of the first live show. That would have given the viewers a feeling of ownership about some of the contestants plus helping the first live show’s ratings.
I understand that the contestants were being taken overseas (don’t understand why) but surely they could have gotten the audience involved in some way. I love the show but some decisions last night were surprising to say the least.

  3. @aesthetic – Agree about The Voice.
It is overwhelmingly all about the judges…nauseatingly so.
Kylie isn’t so bad but cannot stand Will.i.am.
As a mentor he appears to have zero empathy or connection with his chosen performers.

Thando Sikwila was brilliant the other night -far better than Ellie on the night.
But of course they sent her home -so disappointing.

  4. There is something about the voice that is just depressing. Its like theres an agenda for the judges to constantly appear fake/act to make themselves and the show feel relevant while being paid big bucks, pretending to care about which nobody will have the next number 1 single in the charts. Pass.

  5. Unfortunately, found last night’s ep of House Husbands just as tiresome as last week’s.
It’ has become just plain annoying.

Rachel Griffiths is the only thing going for this show.
David, is her character going to be a permanent fixture or only there for a few eps?
Don’t think I could be bothered watching anymore when she’s gone….

  6. Was it just me or did I miss the penultimate episode of Major Crimes and did Gem just air the last episode two weeks in a row. Odd and annoying.

  7. Interesting that The Voice beats House Rules in Sydney/Melb while HR slaughters The Voice in Bris/Adel/Perth, by such large percentages to push House Rules into #1 for Seven.
Same for the News. 9 kills 7 in Syd/Melb, but the big figures for 7 in Bris/Adel/Perth push 7 News into #1 for Seven.

  8. House rules bringing it home for seven #winning
It’s good to see stiff competition between the channels for once, it means everyone is putting solid effort to present the best programs !
I do however think the voice has become slow and boring, it’s not really about the judges, it’s about talent that entertains ! They don’t have that, anyway that’s my opinion :/
