Returning: Under the Dome

Season 2 of Under The Dome premieres July 1 on TEN, just hours after the US.

2014-06-13_1427TEN has confirmed the second season of Under The Dome premieres Tuesday, July 1, at 8.30pm, just hours after the US.

The show was one of TEN’s best performers with its demos last year and the fast-tracking in the same timeslot should serve the show well once again.

Written and directed by best-selling author Stephen King, the second season premiere will turn what you think you know about the Dome on its head.

Picking up where season one left off, we re-join the trapped inhabitants of Chester’s Mill as they struggle to survive, with resources running low and post-apocalyptic conditions intensifying.

As old friends are lost and new faces emerge, Big Jim continues to battle for the town’s allegiance and residents must decide whether to band together or attempt to survive alone.

  1. @ Craig
Totally agree. There’s too many fav series on so when this came on I tuned in thinking it would be resolved within the series but alas, they will stretch it out with BS. Think I can get by without knowing how it ends so I’ll pass this time round.

  2. Saw the ad last week saying “coming soon” and the one this week mentioning the date it is coming back tonight. After I read it here. 🙂

I know I’ve heard some Masterchef ads as well as that “Harry” show on the radio. So I guess they’ll advertise this too before it shows up so viewers know to watch it if they are interested. I hope they are.

P.S. the comments here aren’t counted yet; I think the Miss Fisher story also had a problem and yet it now seems to be fixed. So the gremlin is still stalking your site David. Very weird.

  3. I feel sad this is returning, I’m sure I read somewhere it was originally intended as a miniseries so I watched the first season hoping to get my reward after 13 weeks.

I’ll still watch but I hope we get some answers this time around.

Good to see TEN fast tracking it.
