  1. italianguy1987 – You are probably right. I hope you are anyway because I love A Place to call Home and was sad to here it was axed.

It seems that Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries will have a season 3 now, because of overwhelming popular support. Maybe channel 7 will change its mind too.

  2. Maev....Sydney

Looks likes a lot of Escape to the Country regulars…were elsewhere last night….neither ep. made the list….
And I did watch Masterchef last night…yes, because of Marco….but turned off near the end for ETHC…

  3. Great that Masterchef hit the 1m mark last night. Still interesting that it (Marco Pierre White) was the only TV show trending on twitter last night in Oz

  4. Like others here, I enjoyed The Tunnel as well.
Wasn’t expecting it to be as good as the original Swedish/ Danish version but it came close.
Female lead did well though of course there will only ever be one Saga…

  5. italianguy1987

I hope it wasn’t a publicity stunt for Ch 7 to say they are not proceeding with a season 3 of APTCH and then watch the ratings rise for the show and then at the last minute say ”oh we have now decided to do a season 3.”

i bet they saw that the ratings were lower than last year, made some big public statement about not going on with it, watch the ratings rise and then change their minds.

if that is the case then ch 7 have some smart people over there

  6. Hi David, getting messages that comment publication failed but when I check after a refresh the comment is there for all to see. Happens on my Samsung tablet and my quality Desktop PC since last week. Nearly every time as well. I check now to avoid multiple posting as I know they are a nuisance for you

    • WolfieBoy: Yes aware of some tech problems for comments and beyond that crept in a week ago. It’s impacting on a few areas and frustrating as my tech consultant tries to get to the bottom of it. Thanks for your patience.

  7. Loved Masterchef with Marco Pierre White and that it reached the 1 million mark for the first time this year, eapecially on a Sunday 🙂
Recorded The Tunnel on VPR and the Voice. Ten all night including Graham Norton.
VPR recordings of Soccer matches overnight. Good to see SBS in the top 20 🙂

  8. A Place to Call Home rates 968K and channel 7 want to axe it? Seems like a stupid decision to me. I shudder to think what other garbage they will put in its place.
