The Block 2015 set for South Yarra

Another season of The Block is set to be filmed in Melbourne, this time in the trendy suburb of South Yarra.
Expected to begin filming later this year, the series will air in 2015 as the 6th season set in Melbourne.
A three-level block of 12 apartments on a 660-square-metre site was sold for $5.66m in late March.
A video from auctioneer Robert German from Beller Residential confirmed the buyers were representing The Block, believed to be Sydney-based design firm Brenchley Architects, which works with Watercress Productions to convert buildings into usable spaces for the show.
Filming is expected to begin later this year, and the series will air the first half of next year.
Meanwhile filming of the The Block: Glasshouse continues in High St, Prahran, just 10 minutes drive from the Darling Street location.

The next series would have to be starting soon…when The Voice shifts to one night a week?
Even Nine can’t afford the Sydney market.
Can’t wait, however I wish they’d use different locations for a change – come back to Sydney or do something different and go to Perth or something like that.
