Thank you to the ABC for the News, the former 7.30 Report, Foreign Correspondent, Lateline, Four Corners and Media Watch.
I also watched Being Poirot I did make it to the end. Although I can’t do that too often these days. I saw the start of the credits then left when told to. I tried Ch 72 afterwards. Didn’t last long.
@ WolfieBoy
It is the digital age so everyone has all the digital channels now unless there is a local problem with one or more of them. Sometimes due to weather. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the ‘normal’ SBS audience has literacy skills so they can read a TV Guide and be tempted by other things. Of course it is also unknown because of the retune how many weren’t able to do it for whatever reason.
Hi David – do SBS1 ratings include HD(30) for SBS as I for one always watch or record SBS1 HD e.g. logical ch. 30
They seem very low to me?
Good ratings for M/Chef and pulling NCIS to a level where it belongs.
Donovan was out by less than 10seconds. A pro chef will never serve food not cooked to perection.
Laura did a fabulous job in the end with a little help, even from Donovan Cooke himself.
Donovan was delighted for her. She would never beat him in real life but their time constraints where a few seconds can make all the difference would be something he is not used to.
In a pro kitchen, the food comes out when it is perfect 🙂
Ten is getting the best numbers it has gotten for NCIS it has had for a long time. Good decision to hold eps back and show them when there is little else on. It will give UTD a decent lead in.
The only got an 18% share of ad revenue in May but with Masterchef and NCIS should improve in June.
Where have all the Bogans gone? Bogan Hunters was rating well for 7Mate but has now disappeared from the Multi Channel Top 20.
@smit0847
MCA ‘ Weird/Staged’ ???, surely there is nothing weird about this perception, after all isn’t this the very basis and format of all reality shows?, or even if only comparing MKR’s ‘ Pub Grub’
with MC’s ‘Posh Grub’
Seems viewers tonight, will once again see and hear ‘ Marco,Marco,Marco’ in all his usual style and its a shame that when he is in residence, Network Ten and MCA can’t get the repeated words, names and instructions included in the ratings numbers, that could possibly even get them over the elusive magic million count.
Ring the bells! Ten has 5 shows in the Top 20 and was only 2% off Nine.
No, don’t get excited, this is a blip, not the start of a recovery.
MCA was totally staged, in my opinion.
They should have dumped the immunity pin as a concept ages ago.
Anyway, good numbers for Channel 10 last night, not far behind Nine overall.
Not a bad return for winners and losers but its a shame more people didnt watch the 2nd episode. That was the far better episode.
MCA last night. I dont think it was staged. I just think they had a professional chef on who thought he’d breeze though it and when I saw him pour the sauce on late I thought if that was a contestant they wouldnt try it because it was put on the plate to late. I liked his honesty at the end.
I doubt the judges or the show would insult a chef’s intelligence especially one was high as Donavan and also he looks a scary man and say can you just pretend to stuff up.
Do repeat shows on Foxtel not show ‘-RPT’ in the ratings? Or are all of those first run. Thought at least one of The Simpsons would be a repeat.
That’s a good night for TEN. Seems like they can safely rely on MCA next year, just need to fix their first half the year.
How weird was MCA last night? Seemed a bit staged?!
