Skyler Page, the US creator of a Cartoon Network series, has been fired amid allegations of sexual assault made by a female co-worker.
His animated comedy series Clarence, will premiere in Australia in October.
Described as a “refreshingly heartfelt” series it follows Clarence, a spirited, quirky boy who always sees the best in all things.
But Variety reports artist Emily Partridge accused Page of assaulting her, via Twitter.
A Cartoon Network USA representative confirmed that Page had been dismissed as an employee of the Burbank-based animation facility.
Cartoon Network Australia is due to premiere Clarence on Monday 6th October at 5.30pm, with a sneak peek on Saturday 20th September at 10.15am, following Adventure Time.

Trial by Twitter then. Surely they should at least wait for Channel 7 to run a poll on the matter before passing sentence.
