  1. Maev....Sydney

The Living Room is creeping up that rating ladder…
@ WolfieBoy….does very well with this over 54 and friends and rellies….seems to appeal across the board.

  2. Good to see Ten’s persistence with The Living Room paying off. Now they need to find something consistent for 8.30 such as decent movies or a procedural. If Ten had given Hawaii Five 0 a more consistent run on Fridays earlier this year it might have fared better.

  3. The Living room does very well with the under 54 year olds. Better Homes and Gardens has been around for a long time and is enjoyed by older viewers. To get into the demographics, BHAG’s would have to work on updating that show to appeal to the younger viewers. Friday AFL also plays some part in those results imho.

Glad that TLRoom is doing OK. We like to have a laugh, not just bad news 24/7.

Tactics from any network often force others to follow. It is adapt or disappear. TV is a tough world now, dog eats dog. Some networks can also show far more repeats than others. It is not a level playing field.

  4. You cant blame them for being tactical either; Channels 7 and 9 strategically extend their breakfast shows by 15 minutes to boost the figures of their morning shows.

    • I learned this week that Studio 10 has moved the goalposts on its coding. Previously it had Studio 10 / Studio YOU as two numbers. Since Studio YOU is gone it now has Studio 10 Early and Studio 10. The latter coding actually starts from 9:30. I suspect this gives them a higher average.
