Kiefer Sutherland wishes Freddie Prinze Jr. ‘all the best’

Now who looks unprofessional? Jack Bauer responds to charmless comments by a former castmate.

2014-07-30_0105Kiefer Sutherland has responded -ever so politely- to harsh words from actor Freddie Prinze Jr. who clearly didn’t have a very nice time when filming 24 in 2010.

“I did 24. It was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash; I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that,” Prinze Jr. said.

“I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”

He even said he was told to act with his shoes off to be in frame with Jack Bauer.

First world problems.

“Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie’s grievances,” Sutherland’s representative said in a statement. “Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”

I think he may have left out the word ‘Dammit!’

Of course Prinze Jr. didn’t really sort of stop at all. Since 2010 he appeared in Psych, Happy Valley Noah, Bones, Witches of East End, voice work in Mass Effect: Paragon Lost and has Star Wars Rebels coming up.

  1. If taking sides, I have absolutely no problem being on Team Kiefer.

His response definitely did not sound unprofessional at all. Very dignified indeed.
