Martin Place hq for sale, but Sunrise base is safe.

A long term lease for Seven means they won't have to move when new owners buy "Brekky Central."

2014-07-04_0211Seven’s Martin Place base, home to Sunrise and Seven News, is on the market but a change of ownership won’t impact the network’s long-term lease at “Brekky Central.”

Channel Seven’s General Manager of News and Public Affairs, David Porter told News Corp the show was safe at its current base.

“Seven has a long-term lease and we are committed to our city studio. It’s not just brekky central for Sunrise, it’s our national hub for news and investigations. We’ve also become a landmark attraction for viewers and tourists — we’re even a stop on Sydney’s daily backpacker tour. We had a good relationship with the old building owner and look forward to meeting the new one.”

Luckily the Cash Cow will not have to dig deep for the next Bieber invasion.
