Returning: Hook, Line and Sinker

Nick Duigan & Andrew Hart met in the Southern Cross newsroom. 12 years later they are still going fishing.

2014-07-17_1943Next weekend Nick Duigan and Andrew Hart return with their fishing series Hook, Line and Sinker which has been airing for 12 years.

The pair first met in the news room of Southern Cross Television in Tasmania, ‘borrowed’ some camera gear, and made two episodes while working as news journalists in 2000.

The show then ran in Tasmania only before airing across the Southern Cross TEN network in 2006.-

HLS Productions has now independently produced over 180 episodes plus Going Bush and Boating Tasmania.

This season they travel in Australia and overseas in search of the best fishing spots, exotic catches, plenty of fishing and cooking tips.

Highlights coming up this season include:
Fish the UK – the guys travel around in a Rolls Royce in search of fishing spots
NZ hot spots – the best fish on offer and Andrew & Nick learn traditional fishing values!
Follow the footsteps of Bass & Flinders, and can they drive a tinnie around Tassie?
Outback fishing – in search of fish in Mt Isa
Can an old project boat be turned into something a bit more beautiful?

7mate Saturday 26th July at 2.00pm.
