    • Welcome. The short answer is there are boxes in 3,500 homes across Australia that represent us all. What they watch is tallied as data by Neilsen and sent through overnight to OzTAM. Australia has more boxes per capita than the US. There is more detailed info at OzTAM’s website (owned by Seven, Nine and TEN).

  1. So X-factor came 4th overall, but did not do so well in the demos… Does that mean that a large amount of X-factors audience is 55 or older. Going by past decisions at 7 they really should cancel x factor.

  2. once-upon-a-time

    @lovetv123

    SN numbers could be a result of a Network’s policy and promos that cry wolf just so many times, and the blatant overuse of ‘Exclusive, Never Seen Before and New Developments etc.’ that usually ends up being mostly a repeat of re-sequenced previous material( and the dreams of producers/animators) with possibly as little as .0001% of new material?

  3. Don’t watch depressing stories on TV. Life is hard enough. So Sunday night we watched:
    M/Chef, then Voice for Kids off recorder. Then Tour de France.
    Recorded – Extant = an excellent show imho.
    House Husbands for my wife.

    Good night of TV once again and happy M/Chef is holding up so well and winning 2 demographics.
    Are younger viewers returning to Ten? – Hope so. 🙂

  4. @lovetv123
    Yes, the story about medical cannibis was good, although I detest the hyperbolic title “Enemies of the State”

    The Matthew Ames story was beautiful too.

  5. Sunday Night deserved more viewers because it was such an amazing story about the family that is helping their son with medical cannibis.

  6. I love The X Factor, but it’s great to see the 3 reality shows relatively even: good competition. Also, great numbers for House Husbands: great episode last night.
