BBC World News' Intelligence Squared Debate will tackle that perennial republic issue.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is widely admired in Australia, where she has served as Monarch since 1952. However, is it a mistake to confuse personal affection for the Sovereign with abiding support for the monarchy? As the Queen enters the latter years of her reign, an Intelligence Squared debate from Sydney asks whether the death of Elizabeth should be marked by the birth of an Australian republic?
