X Factor pushes back Amazing Race, Winners & Losers, Criminal Minds.

Extended X Factor means other Seven programming is being pushed back in the schedule.

Luke JacobzExtended X Factor episodes means other Seven programming is being pushed back in the schedule.

Presumably this is all happening while the show’s boot camp and overseas trips lock in their finalists.

Seven is hardly alone in this practice, but it’s important to keep viewers in the loop, and I do worry about the finish time for The Amazing Race: Australia v New Zealand.

Originally scheduled for 8:40pm next Monday will now premiere from 9pm and wrap at 11pm.

7:30pm The X Factor
9pm The Amazing Race Aus v NZ
11pm Brynne: My Bedazzled Diary

Parks & Recreation is now out.

Another 90 minute X Factor airs this Wednesday with Criminal Minds now starting at 9pm.

On Sunday it’s a 105 minute edition meaning Sunday Night moves to an 8:15pm start followed by World’s Most Extreme Water Ways (rivetting stuff?) and double Castle at 10:15pm.

On Tuesday August 5 Winners and Losers will begin at 9pm with Chicago Fire at 10pm.

That is all.

I think.

  1. Thursdays used to be good for 7 then what happened. In the old days we had Amazing Race,How I met your Mother and Family Guy.In addition sometimes existed Cougar Town. Now look at it 8pm to 9:45pm if it’s not football is currently made up of Reality TV offerings.Shame on You.

  2. I despair at how Aussie TV is these days with all the commercial networks relying on reality shows for their schedule Sundays to Wednesdays, blowing out the start times for any shows following them, whether it be 60 Monutes an oversaes or Aussie drama or even another reality show. There’s no structure. The kids of today will grow up thinking this is normal. I have kept my promise and am boycotting The X factor this year, (due to sevens axing of APTCH) and am currently enjoying my first season of Game of Thrones.

  3. Double episodes………..What The …..

Surest way to kill a show is double episodes, look at the ratings the second season Arrow is getting.

I will not watch double episodes….double ads…double station promos. If I watch a double I prefer to watch it on DVD, which it is not two hours…more like 90 minutes.
