Auditions: E! Host Australia

Move over Angela Bishop and Richard Wilkins.

E! is looking for an Australian host to cover celebrity interviews and red carpets -including internationally.

“When Hollywood comes to town you will be the go to person to uncover Australia’s very own Pop of Culture,” says the E! press release.

The Casting Call is now open to anyone over the age of 18 who has a strong passion for celebrity news and pop culture. While the call-out is open Australia wide, the chosen host must be prepared to live in Sydney.

NBCUniversal Australia Vice President of Television Chris Taylor said, “This is an extraordinary opportunity for home grown talent to be part of a global entertainment brand. Australia has a very proud heritage in grooming on air talent for the world stage, and we fully anticipate that we will unearth a star in the making”.

The Casting Call will close on Friday, September 5 at 6:00pm AEST and the host will be announced at the end of September.
