One Plus One: Todd Sampson

Tomorrow on ABC’s One Plus One Jane Hutcheon interviews Todd Sampson.

Much of the episode focusses on his upbringing (a funny story about how he used to secretly record his parents’ conversations), endurance climbing, business and ‘fame.’

After the phenomenal success of his documentary series Redesign My Brain, Jane Hutcheon sits down with Todd Sampson to explore what motivates his constant desire for challenge.

He reveals that he pushes himself, sometimes to dangerous extremes. He nearly died during the filming of Redesign when an underwater stunt went horribly wrong.

Sampson has also climbed Mount Everest.

He discusses the individuals who’ve changed the course of his life, and how family life keeps him (a little) grounded.
