Like so many TV hosts, they just sat back and laughed when Robin Williams unleashed “interviewer hell” upon them.

I still remember Don Lane letting Williams run amok on the set of his Nine show, improvising with the props (“Not tonight darling, it’s my pyramid.”).

  2. Thanks for the article David. Really enjoyed watching the clips. Loved the one with Ray Martin during the commercial break. If he was that funny during the break, I’d love to see what he did “on air”.
