Rove returns to The Project desk on Monday

Rove gets a bit Heather Locklear on us as "special co-host" until December.

2014-08-15_1454Rove McManus is back at The Project desk from Monday alongside former Rove Live cast mates Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar.

McManus will be “special guest co-host” through to December 2014.

That’s just a bit Heather Locklear, Mr. McManus!

Australian actor, producer and screenwriter Joel Edgerton joins us live at the desk to talk about his new movie, Felony. Starring, written and co-produced by Joel, Felony follows the story of three male detectives who become embroiled in a tense struggle after a tragic accident leaves a child in a coma.

The man behind The Great Gatsby, Strictly Ballroom and Australia – film director, screenwriter and producer Baz Luhrmann – drops by to talk about his new role as Creative Director for the opening of Emporium Melbourne.

We cross to Grammy Award winning musician and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams in LA to chat about his latest single, Come Get It Bae, plus celebrity chef, author and television personality Curtis Stone pops in for a catch-up.

Our regulars Steve Price, Todd Sampson, Mia Freedman, Kitty Flanagan, Waleed Aly, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann and Fifi Box join us across the week.

6.30pm weeknights on TEN.

  1. I like The Project…I didn’t mind Rove in Rove Live…I just don’t care for the two together…
Rove at the desk does not work for me.

  2. I’m with you @mistaken, Pickering has been insufferable since he came back, I’ve only been dipping my toes in and watching since his what has seemed a smug return (and I was a fan of his before).

  3. I wonder if Rove can persuade Hamish and Andy back to Ten too? A weekly spot on The Project would be great!

Surely, Corinne Grant will join them on the desk as the 4th panelist one night?
