16 Comments:

  1. One weight loss pgm a year is enough – so drop that show or viewers will go elsewhere 7.

Watched The Project and Mrs.Doubtfire and enjoyed that. Recorded Winners and Losers and watched it later. Also recorded Arrow for my wife on 9.
Robin Williams will be missed a lot by his many fans. 🙁

  2. I think Bringing Sexy Back will improve next week. It was not too bad. A lot like Biggest loser except they focus on only 1 person and they go from fat to end result in the one night. You don’t have to follow it each week to keep up. 7 should stick with this.

  3. Secret Squirrel

Unlike the other 4 capitals, it looks like people in Brissie preferred to watch a bloke in a blue singlet rather than a bloke in a blue dress.

  4. bettestreep2008

Bringing Sexy Back would have rated much better if Ten screened Jamie Oliver instead of Mrs Doubtfire.

Ten’s good fortune – sadly – was a result of the death of a comic genius.

I watched Mrs Doubtfire cos I – like many others – wanted to marvel at the great comic actor.

I am predicting Nine and Seven will air a Robin Williams movie either tonight or some time this week too.

Dead Poets Society or The Birdcage please.

  5. Happy for two reasons – Bringing Sexy Back flopped! It just looks terrible!

And so glad so many people watched Mrs Doubtfire. We watched it in our household – and I got so teary at the end!! It is really massive news – I was in the line at Coles and a total stranger asked me if I’d heard the news and we ended up in a conversation about it for a good few minutes – sharing our favourite movies. My brother said to me any time he’s asked who his favourite celebrity was he’d say Robin Williams and “every time I say that, they’d say that their second favourite was him too!”.

  6. Hahahahahahahaha @ ‘Bringing Sexy Back’ flopping. I predict that they will bump the show to a 9:30 or 10:30 Thursday timeslot very soon.

The amount of promotion for this show has been painfully large, they promoted it almost every ad break during X Factor

Interesting that Mrs. Doubtfire rated so highly. Probably my favourite movie from Robin Williams

  7. Whoa those are some pretty good numbers for both parts of the project, that has to be one of the highest numbers for the 6:30 slot in a long time. I guess that it is due the Robin Williams death, the project did a great job on covering it. I loved how they ended the show with highlights from his interview from 2011, then went into Mrs Doubtfire.
Ch 7 seem to be making a few mistakes of late, with X-factor not as high as last year, TAR poor scheduling and BSB, 7 need to re group.

  8. Thank God Bringing Sexy Back tanked. To reduce obesity to ‘wanting to look hot’ shows how out of touch the producers are.
I myself have lost 44kg since October ’13 & you don’t lose the weight to look hot…qthat can just be a bonus. You do it for medical/health/psychological reasons.
Seven get this show off the air.

  9. Channel 7 have to be happy that many people tuned in to Bringing Sexy Back. I am surprised it was that high!
Funny how theAmazing Race is hidden later on Monday and rates better!
