Deja vu? Rumours of a feature for Jack Bauer are gathering steam once again.

It feels like we’ve been here before but, there are rumours of another movie for 24 yet again.
TV Line reports Imagine Entertainment is kicking around a new feature idea. Imagine Chairman Brian Grazer is said to be particularly keen on the pitch, which has yet to be brought to 20th Century Fox.
Rumours of a movie for Jack Bauer were on again / off again for several years -but to the producers’ credit they did deliver a new TV season.
“I loved this year’s season of 24,” Fox Networks Group Chairman CEO Peter Rice said in July. “I’ve always been a fan. We haven’t had a specific conversation about it coming back yet, but I’m sure we will in the future. It’s a wonderful franchise. When you look at the show itself, it has many more stories to tell. I think we need to sit down and talk to the creators.”
A 20th Century Fox spokesperson rep declined to comment.
Kiefer Sutherland has previously said, “The film’s an ongoing situation.
“There’s always an opportunity to do that.”

They’ve got to do a movie or another TV Series so Jack can be rescued. They can’t just leave him with the Russians.
I loved the series, but didn’t like that ending. I thought he had a plan & people would come in guns blazing & kill the Russians. But no, he flew off with them. And how’s the President, after everything Jack did for him, he just flies back to the US & doesn’t even ask after him or check he was ok.
Why not just pop out a movie?
