Credit where it’s due. The Block last night (1.18m) topped the night for the 5th consecutive night this week.
It has now won Sunday – Thursday for 2 straight weeks, and the only reason it didn’t have a third week was because of Thursday football interruptions.
You would have to go back to My Kitchen Rules to find a similar straight run. This weekend the show has its open inspection to the public. Expect massive crowds.
Nine network won the night with a 31.8% share then Seven 26.%, TEN 18.9%, ABC 18.0% and SBS 5.3%.
Next for Nine was Nine News (1.12m / 1.04m), A Current Affair (920,000), Big Brother (748,000), The Footy Show (667,000) and Hot Seat (585,000).

5 for 5? Must feel good to be king of the rubbish heap.
Very poor form of channel nine to move the footy show to 9.40ish during the AFL finals. Not a fan as I used to be but channel nine got this one wrong. Lots of breaking news in the AFL the last few days and a very good opening interview with Dangerfield that deserved a better timeslot. If you include the random times that footy classified is scheduled every week, there must be people at nine making decisions on AFL that have no clue about the sport or their Melbourne audience.
