Airdate: Faking It

MTV launches a new comedy series, Faking It, about two best friends mistakenly seen by friends as a lesbian couple and nominated as homecoming Queens.

But it emerges that one may have feelings for the other.

The 8 part series was created by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov and premiered in the US in April. It has been approved for a second season.

‘Faking It’ is a new romantic comedy about two best friends who love each other …in slightly different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which launches them to instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma and Amy decide to keep up their romantic ruse.
