Filming on Nine’s telemovie Gina vs Rose: The House of Hancock is nearing completion, according to media reports.
The production, which films in both Sydney and Perth, has been filming courtroom scenes at the University of Western Sydney in Campbelltown. A Penrith house also doubles as the lavish Prix D’Amour mansion.
Fairfax reports Mandy McElhinney bore a “close resemblance to Australia’s richest woman” while Peta Sergeant gave “her best Rose Lacson look, complete with eye-shadow, a Filipino accent and a red blazer.”
It also stars Sam Neill as Lang Hancock.
Six weeks of filming will conclude in Perth next week.
The telemovie is being produced by Michael Cordell, Claudia Karvan and Paul Bennett from Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder. It is now expected to air early next year.
