Nine Blocks out another ratings week

Ratings: Nine takes Total People and Demos, thanks largely to The Block & News, and TEN & ABC battle for third spot.

Block 4258Nine has taken another ratings week as it dominates early evening viewing with The Block and Nine News. Tonight it adds Big Brother to the mix, which could yet see it increase its lead.

Nine even won the week in Melbourne during a week of AFL finals and nationally is leading its rival for the Demos.

But Seven is in front in Total People and weeks won. With less than 3 months until the end of the ratings year, the battle should ensure viewers are teased with some tempting content.

Last week’s results saw dual contests for first and third places once again.
