Housos star Paul Fenech, who recently dropped out of Dancing with the Stars, was arrested following an alleged altercation with a Sydney taxi driver in August.
News Corp reports Fenech was arrested on August 22nd on the corner of York and Jamison streets following claims a cab driver had been allegedly assaulted. He was taken to Day Street police station and later released.
The Bogan Hunters star will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on October 15th.
Fenech recently took to Facebook to explain his departure from the Seven show: “Sorry people bailed from dancing show … Crazy busy finishing the movie and have a crack at my knee … You can’t argue with knee cartlidge (sic)”.
While Fenech does have a knee injury from a reconstruction, Seven attributed his resignation from the series as related to “a private matter.”
He is currently completing a Fat Pizza v Housos film but will not be replaced on Dancing with the Stars.
