Luke and Wyatt will again host Nickelodeon’s green slime event, staged in both Sydney (Sept 26) and Melbourne (Sept 28).

Best known for her role on Disney’s Girl Meets World, 14 year old Sabrina Carpenter is a talented singer with a number of hit songs already under her belt including debut EP “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying” and new single “The Middle of Starting Over”. Sabrina has already developed a reputation for being an all-round performer, with skills extending to dancing, playing the piano and guitar.

“This will be my first visit to Australia and I can’t wait to perform for all my fans at Slimefest in Sydney and Melbourne. It’s going to be a blast and I’m so excited to see everyone get slimed!” said Sabrina.

The Collective catapulted to national attention off the back of 2012’s The X Factor Australia and immediately became a top ten success on the ARIA charts with their single “Surrender”. Each of the four boys – Jayden, Julian, Will and Trent possess individual musical talents which, when put together, have been key to their rise to fame. Their latest single “Burn the Bright Lights” reflects the emotional dynamic of the group and features meaningful lyrics which represent the next stage of their career.

“This is going to be one event we will never forget – Slimefest is the ultimate kids concert and we are so pumped to get out there, perform our songs and join in the fun on the Nickelodeon stage!” said Julian de Vizio from The Collective.

The voice behind the current ARIA smash hit “Freaks” with Timmy Trumpet is local NZ Hip Hop artist Savage – also known as the man behind the Triple Platinum selling dance record “Swing” with Joel Fletcher. “Freaks” debuted in the Top 10 Singles Chart this week and at Number One on the Dance Chart, setting Savage up as a platinum star internationally. Now signed with Ministry of Sound Australia, “Freaks” has been added to high rotation on all major commercial radio stations across Australia and is now on the cusp of Platinum sales within just three weeks of release.

“Slimefest Sydney and Melbourne are going to be epic – Nickelodeon definitely knows how to put on a show that kids will never forget – let the sliming begin!” said Savage.

This year, Nickelodeon has partnered with Nice Events, a new company produced by the Directors of BigDog Creative and Killrockstar Entertainment, focusing on family and youth entertainment.

A 90 minute highlights special will air on Nickelodeon on Monday 29 September at 5pm.
