15 Comments:

  1. All the comments about X Factor praising it are spot on – we should be so proud to have so many talented singers. Without a show like that they are condemned to bar/pub performances or you tube.

7 are doing an excellent job with that show – well done 🙂

  2. I’ve tried to watch The Block a few times but they put me off on the first night when 3 of the 5 couples were dark haired man / blonde woman. Every time I’ve flicked onto it since none of them have been doing anything more than buying cushions or whingeing, it’s always we’re waiting for the tiler / plumber / plasterer / builder etc etc. I’m sure that’s a great comfort to the people who will eventually buy the apartments though!

Couldn’t find anything I liked on the main channels last night, watched a repeat of Twister on 7mate then the basketball on ABC2. Go Boomers!

  3. The X factor talent this year is out of the roof. Such great production and great singers. I think Foo has the strongest group but I also love Brothers 3, Dean and Sydnee performance last night.

  4. The Fox Footy AFL Games need a reprint as none of those teams played against each other yesterday. Gold Coast played West Coast, Adelaide played St Kilda and GWS played Western Bulldogs.

  5. Stopped watching the block a while ago, am all over renovation shows, especially this one, twice in one year, and on an average of 5 nights per week, shame channel 9 don’t have anything else to show same boring crap, The X factor is very good, Australia has so much untapped talent, a couple of the acts I don’t like but that is just my opinion, but find the whole show is family entertainment.

  6. Well poida, I have to say that both The Block and X Factor are garbage. Does that make me self-righteous? Probably, but I stand by the charge.

Anzac Girls is rating reasonably well at 800K. Seems many like me are still willing to give it a go. Its Mills and Boonish but has some interesting parts. Many are just fed up with the reality crap and are desperate enough to watch mediocre Australian drama.

  7. I have to disagree just not connecting with the contestants this year on X-Factor. They are good singers but not as likeable as your Taylor, Dami or Jai’s of last year. I think the country girl Caitlyn has a future. Also agree Brothers 3 will be there at the end.

  8. The Block is such a crap show! Why do people watch it?

X factor is great this year! All contestants are very talented. I expect Reigan, Dean and Brothers Three to make the grand final
